Green Baby Expo

Green Baby Expo is this Saturday, June 21 at the Chico Fairgrounds from 10am to 5pm. Find more information on the website www.GreenBabyExpo.com. Parking fees and raffle ticket sales will be benefiting those effected by the Humboldt Fire. This is going to be a really exciting event with fun, and prizes for the whole family. Just a very important note about this Friday, June 13th ......  @ 7 PM at the Neighborhood Church's Multi Purpose Room, 2801 Norte Dame Blvd. in Chico.  Dr Lou Niles, one of the Nation's Foremost Naturopathic Doctors, a former San Diego EMT/Fireman will share from his experience of treating End-Stage Cancer Patients what we need to do to allow our body to heal itself and why whole foods must be part of our diet.  Please join us.  $10.00 per person, net proceeds go to THEMOREPROJECT.ORG.

Art workshops for children and teens

 

Do you have a budding artist in your family? Fairway Art Studio, a private studio located near Butte Creek Country Club, is offering 4-day art workshops for children and teens. Four summer sessions are now forming with separate instruction for three age groups: 5-7, 8-11, and 12+. Taught by professional artists, the program emphasizes the “fun” damentals of drawing and painting. Classes are in the morning from 9:30 – 12:00 Monday through Thursday.
