Sunday, November 4, 10:00am-11:30am
Join naturalist Jon Aull for a hike through Teichert Ponds, Chico's own wetlands. We will make a loop around the ponds, looking for birds, bugs, and beavers. We will walk out to a beaver lodge and talk about different adaptations birds and other animals have for living in a wetland environment. Space is limited to 25 people. Wear long pants and shoes and be prepared for mud if it's been raining. Bring binoculars if you have them. Some loaners will be available.
Please call us at 891-4671 to pre-register for this free program. Heavy rain cancels event.
